Friends: I'll soon start an end-of-the-year keep-them-busy lesson with second graders using wordless picture books. In a nutshell, they have to write and/or tell the story. I've done the lesson before with mixed results, largely due to my failure to match student ability to difficulty of the wordless books. I have my list of books (below) but I'd like to have a few MORE titles so I can better match ability/difficulty. I'm sure there are more in my collection that I'm just "missing". Can you help me "find" them? Any other suggestions for wordless picture books? TIA Marcia My list: Felix: The Numbers, The Opposites, The House, The Alphabet, The Wind, The Colors Wiesner: Free Fall Spier: Rain Turkle: Deep in the Forest Mayer: Frog Goes to Dinner; Frog on His Own; A Boy, A Dog, A Frog and A Friend Alexander: Bobo's Dream Amoss: By the Sea Briggs: The Snowman Tafuri: Have you seen My Duckling, Early Morning in the Barn Hutchins: Rosie's Walk Crews: Truck, Schoolbus Wildsmith: Toot, Toot Anno: Anno's USA Carle: Do You Want to Be My Friend?
