Hello, The choir in which I participate is getting ready to head off for a tour of these three beautiful cities. We'll be performing in each with the choral societies in Canberra and Melbourne (I think) joining us for their respective city concerts. We'll be there from the 12th of June until the 23rd/24th (depending on travel arrangements). Then a smaller group of us will be travelling to New Zealand. It will be a much needed graduation present to myself. I feel fairly confident that I'll be able to discover the great touristy things to do in each city. I was wondering, though, if there is anybody that would be willing to recommend an activity, restaraunt, sight, something fun....that is not as well known and frequented by the tourists. When I have concert information, I'll pass it along, for those that are interested. I'd love to go off the beaten path a bit, to see something or do something that isn't necessarily in a book or on a thousand postcards already. Please respond to me personally to avoid list-clutter. Thanks!!!
