From: Mary Jane Reinert <mjreinert@BOYERTOWNASD.ORG>
Subject: GEN: Appropriate Language

I have been quiet for over a year, responding to individuals when I could
help, signing off during holidays and very appreciative of this list and the
time Peter Milbury puts into it. I have tons of useful suggestions from
everyone. I don't get upset when something off color slips through by
accident and dwell on mistakes. But the wording on this request I think is
inappropriate. No faculty member would walk into my library - or even the
faculty room - and talk like this about such a benign topic. This book
shouldn't have to be explained, but if you have a question about it, there
is no need for profanity. Let's keep this list professional like the people
it represents.
Thank you for 'listening'. (I think I just produced my first 'flame' - and
probably my last - but that just hit me the wrong way.)
