While Earl may have used an unusual choice of words, I didn't see
anything that I thought of as 'profanity' on the first reading. I thought
he was trying to be 'casual'.  I used to work in the schools and
heard that word (and worse) from teachers in their private areas and
at times when no students were in the school.

I will say that his post certainly got my attention and I was able to
reply privately. Since I quickly scan the first few lines when reading
a post, I might have passed it by without the extra emphasis.
<grin>.

By the way, your post is not a 'flame'. You were calm, rational, and
not demeaning. A 'flame' is none of those and worse.
