Dear Madeline and LM Netters
I am assuming you are using Windows.  If so here it is:
        Open "My Computer"
        Choose the "view" menu
        Click on "Folder Options"
        Select the "File Types" tab
        Scroll down until you find "JPEG Image" and select it
        Hit the "edit" button
        Highlight the "open" in the "actions" window and hit "edit" button
        This opens a screen. Hit Browse" button and find the application
you want (i.e.Photoshop)
        Double click on the Photoshop executable file (probably
Photoshp.exe) click "OK"
        You should be done
On a Mac the process is simplier and invloves the file exchange control
panel (pretty self-explanitory)
