LM_NET FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) Updated: May 22, 2000
--------------------------------------------------------------------
This listing of questions frequently asked (and answered) on LM_NET has
been created in hope of reducing some of the repetition encountered by our
members. We post this list monthly and mark (*) updated items in the
contents. Members may wish to save the FAQ for quick reference. If you have
recently posted a HIT about a topic and see someone else ask the same
question, please send a copy of your HIT to that person and let us know so
it can be added to future FAQ's.

Retired FAQ's may be visited at http://ericir.syr.edu/lm_net/retiredfaqs.htm
Many questions have been added to the retired list so be sure to
research here and do not forget to check the archives for any question you
suspect may have been answered. Be specific with the term year=2000 if you
only want this year's postings.

postings to the LM_NET listserv and which are listed here but we welcome
any corrections or updates of this information. Just send it to:
