solution to water guns/pranks

        I believe it was Dan (from H.W. Wilson) who asked what we could do
about the water guns, etc. A few years ago some senior students entered the
building through the roof and vandalized a couple of areas in the school.
One was the library. Mostly just threw books on the floors, etc. I say
mostly because I could think of worse things they could have done. The
culprits were found and had [minimal] punishment...a few hours of helping
around at the school (but not in the library). The next year a new policy
was in the student handbook, approved by the school board, and stressed
with the students. If they were caught pulling stunts/pranks they would not
be allowed to participate in graduation activities (i.e. attend senior
reception, Baccalaureate, attend commencement and go across the stage to
receive their diploma, etc.). We haven't had trouble since, but each class
is different.
