Reference Librarian Curriculum/Periodicals Area

Evening & Weekend

Part-time, Temporary Appointment

Provide reference service to undergraduate students within an active, =
highly service-oriented library on a residential campus. Primary =
reference responsibility is with the following collections: the Teacher =
Education Resources Center, Government Documents, Serials, and Media. =
Other responsibilities include periodic library instruction and other =
special projects.=20

Qualifications: ALA-accredited MLS; good oral/written communication =
skills and strong background in information technology. Successful =
reference experience in a college or public school preferred. Previous =
experience relevant to assisting School of Education students with =
selection and use of K-12 curriculum materials desired.=20

Initial contract is for one academic year, approximately 36 weeks @ 20 =
hrs/week, beginning August 21, 2000. Salary is $15/hour.=20
