Target: Multicultural Books

Hello,
    Dr. R. Takaki spoke on multiculturalism to our faculty a week ago and we
would like to start a multicultural book discussion group.  We would like the
faculty to read the one book this summer ( all reading the same book).  But
we would like to have a great story and a multicultural theme in the same
book.
   If you have any suggestions, please send them.  Thank you
