One of my elementary teachers is looking for a poem about the oddities of
the English language. I have seen them before, but can't put my hands on
one in any of my sources. I checked the Internet, but didn't have a first
line so also didn't have any luck. She remembers the one she saw had
something about "mouse and mice, then why not house and hice?" I've seen
several versions of this idea, but can't find one. Any ideas? I thank you
in advance for any help you can give!
