LM_NET: Library Media Networking
Several years ago a student teacher mentioned that she thought it would be
"neat" to be a school librarian instead of a classroom teacher. . . and get
to *sit* and read stories to kids all day. I invited her to shadow me for
three days, after she finished her student teaching stint. She lasted less
than a day and a half, and asked how come I wasn't wearing roller skates.
OTOH, I have to admit that I enjoy having so many online resources to use;
it gives me a *reason* to sit down at work every so often!
