Many of us get a zillion AOL CD's in the mail for "free" hours. My
daughter's roomate wants to use all of them by signing up for AOL with
the first CD and at the end of the month, cancel that AOL account and
open up a new one with another "free" CD. Besides being a PITA, will
that work? The other problem associated with this plan is that AOL asks
for a credit card number for some reason in order to get the "free"
access. Why do they need that? Wouldn't AOL figure out this scam of
cancelling service each month and opening a new account with the same
credit card number each month? I need advice.
TIA
