Our school has started an in school counseling center for our at risk kids. It is funded by a national grant and the coordinator is looking for program ideas (whether after school or during the school day). She is open to ideas for long term projects or having something for one day. I am wondering what sort of programs you have or have had in your schools or that have been successful. The students we work with are from a variety of ethnic backgrounds so ideas for multicultural programs are appreciated. I am especially open to ideas that involve the library. We talked about running a reading club, having a coffee house, author visit, etc. She does have some money to spend, so all ideas are appreciated. Thanks! catchy13@aol.com Kathy Carragher Red Bank Regional H.S =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
