Netters, I am librarian in a 7-12 school. We are going to begin AR with our 7th graders. Our principal wants to take the books for AR off the shelves and put them in a special place for the students to use. I feel like the books should be kept with the regular collection so that the 7th graders will learn to use the library correctly. Any comments? Also, any comments on where to place the dots or symbols that identify the grade level. I have heard that some put that on the inside rather than the outside. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
