You are right!!!
Don't enable those students, they are old enough to find their own =
materials!
As far as symbols, if you have to put them on the book...................a =
whole problem in itself, put them on the inside where as few patrons as =
possible will see them!  These symbols are small filters in our library, I =
believe patrons should choose books because they are interesting to them, =
not because they are the appropriate level!  If the book is too difficult =
they will return it, as well as when the book is too simple!  These =
children do have minds of their own!!!!!!! =20
I don't know how outspoken you are about your library, but I would set =
your principal straight on this one!
