LM_NET: Library Media Networking
Our French teacher would like to coordinate her students' field trip to a
French bookstore with a national reading event. She was sorry to find out
that she had just missed Teen Read Week, sponsored by ALA.
I looked on the ALA site and the site for the International Reading
Association, but really couldn't find a place where upcoming events were
posted. If someone knows of another reading day or week for this school
year, please let me know. If there's a website, even better. I'll post a
hit.
The closest I could find will be Read Across America in March, for Dr.
Seuss.
