TARGET: Filtering software for home use

I am an elementary librarian serving early childhood through fifth
grades.  Parents have been asking for recommendations of software they
might install on their home computers to act as a filter for their
children's use of the Internet.  These parents often use University or
company providers for access to the Internet which do not have filters
built in to their access.  They would prefer not having to change providers
to get a filtering service, but would like some software they could
purchase at a reasonable price to handle the problem for them.  Please
