We're putting together some lessons on the use of listservs and discussion groups (like LM_NET) and need some good stories about "How LM_NET (or some other listserv) Saved My Life" or "How LM_NET Made Me Look Good." We'd also be interested in "unusual" email stories...how email made a difference to your students or your program in some way, an unexpected email, the email you sent by accident and it turned out all right....how did email contribute in some way to your professional life (other than, of course, the day to day tons of email we all get...) This one is harder to explain, but we'll know it when we see it! If you have one to share, please email me directly at baumbach_d@popmail.firn.edu. Thanks for your help!
