ELEM: Selecting Materials for K-5

As a new member, and first year Library Media Specialist, I am posting the
following question:  WHAT RESOURCES DO YOU USE IN SELECTING BOOKS,
MAGAZINES, SOFTWARE--CD ROM'S, AND VIDEOS FOR YOUR STUDENTS IN GRADES K-5?
Special thanks for your assistance.  (I had 18 years of prior teaching
experience and am presently getting back into the system.  Any help you can
give me will be greatly appreciately!)
