Hello to everyone on the listserv. I am a new librarian and still
feeling my way with many things. For the moment I am looking for
information regarding the Anglo-Saxon period to 17th century english
literature and history. I have found some information but more ideas
would be appreciated. If you need more information please let me know.
The students are being asked to come up with projects regarding the
previously mentioned time period. Web sites, books, pictures would all
be helpful. Thanks in advance.

P.S. I am planning a Family Reading Night and am wondering about any
input/ideas anyone has regarding this. This will be the first time one
has been held at this school and the first one I have done as well. It
is also in an area where reading is low on the list of priorities. Any
ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Oh by the way,
the school is preschool through 12th grade. I want to get everyone
involved.
