Books of monetary value.

I have been asked a question by an aide about some books by Tasha Tudor
that seem to be of great value on e-bay. Even more recent printings.
I myself don't think that library copies would be worth much because of
the library stamping and the pockets. But this person's friend thought
that they could be sold and the money used to but more up to date books
for the library. Anyone out there with info?
