Hello All,
I need advice on my certification.  I graduated from Kutztown University
with a BS in Education and a Concentration Library Science.  I obtained a Job
in NJ.  I meet all requirements except, CLASSROOM EXPERIENCE.  I am now
wearing two hats.   I am the librarian and  I also teach Language arts to the
Fifth grade!  I need to know is there anyway around this,  I need to do it
for two years!!!!!.  I cannot be Permanently certified without the CLASSROOM
EXPERIENCE!!  I feel this is wrong as do many others.  If anyone has any
advice about my sit.  PLEASE!  write me.  Real quickly, as i said I have a BS
in ED w. library Science, I students taught (Full semester), and meet all
educational requirements and NTE scores.  Why is the library not considered a
classroom? THAT I S RIDICULOUS!!!! I understand that there are two librarians
in NJ from Kutztown University, if you could contact me, I would appreciate
that!!!  Thank you for any advice!!
