Observation and dewey lesson

Hi all.  I need a favor.  I am a second year librarian working through a
waiver for two years while I get my master's degree and certification.  I am
in a 6-8 middle school.  My principal is going to observe me tomorrow
teaching a 6th grade class and I am doing a lesson about the Dewey system.  I
would like to make it a bit more fun,so I would appreciate any ideas or
lesson plans anyone may have used before since I am not very familiar about
how to teach library lessons.  I also need ideas to add to my unit plan to go
with the lesson.
