I would like to know what is a reasonable amount of time to set aside for middle school students to look for "pleasure" books and check them out. I'm on a fixed schedule this year but hope to work on changes next year. Also, do the classroom teachers help their students select books? Thanks. I'll post a HIT-> on this topic.
