Help!

Has anyone switched from Follett (we have Circ+) to another automation
system? How did you handle transporting (migrating) the circ data? I can get
a MARC export as well as a patron export. The manual says that the full
backup includes all the entire database. It, however, is compressed. Is this
backup data readable by another automation system?

Similar question with the old Columbia Library System. Has anyone switched
from CLS to something else?

I feel a little awkward calling these vendors to ask how we can stop using
their programs!
