Elem, Tech: Cornerstone & Orchard Software

    I'm on a software selection committee for our county and we are
considering purchasing the Cornerstone software (which covers NC curriculum
topics for grades 3 - 5) and/or Orchard software (for grades K - 5).  The
reviews have been favorable, but we'd like to hear first hand from schools
that have used these programs...how effective they are in raising test
scores, ease of use, reliability, etc.  Any comments, good or bad, will be
appreciated.  TIA!
