Does anyone know of any web sites which are suitable for K-2 students? I= am a second career starting technology & media teacher and use both a= computer lab and a library. I am trying to introduce our students to the= Internet by modelling sites suitable to both their interests and their= reading levels. Virtually all of our students come from disadvantaged= situations and are not yet reading to grade level. For most, school is= their only access to the Internet (save the public libraries if they are= taken there). We want to like to eventually allow the students to use the= Internet on their own for simple, directed research, but most sites seem= to require at least a 4th grade reading ability. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Warren W.
