There seems to be three ways to get to a subscription service:;IP addresses, embedded passwords, and passwords. With proxies, we have had difficulty with IP addresses because of the number of schools in our district with different subscriptions from the same company (Galenet) and the proxy caches the other school site. Now, our district is installing a firewall. I would like to know what other district's experiences have been with subscription services and proxies & firewalls. I am especially interested in ways they have solved different schools in a district accessing different services from the same company. Also, what additional problems a firewall might cause.
