literacy education and/or education technology; advise =20
undergraduate and graduate students; conduct a program of =20
focused research; serve as higher education representative =20
for Residency Year Program (first-year teachers); and =20
demonstrate active involvement in professional =20
organizations, teacher education, university extension, and=20
grantsmanship. Minimum requirements: Ed.D. or Ph.D. with an=20
emphasis in library media or related field; record of =20
successful classroom teaching experience; experience or =20
training in supervision of field experiences and/or work in=20
a library/media center desirable; evidence of professional =20
service, effective teaching, and potential for scholarly =20
