After seeing today's news report of Buffalo's snow-in overnighter in their schools, I was curious how schools deal with handling their children when they are restricted overnight in the building. Imagining the logistics of handling hundreds of teenagers for 15+ hours seems overwhelming. For those of you that have faced this type of problem, what accommodations and restrictions should be made to make the experience as comfortable for staff and student as possible? Did your administration have plans in place for such an emergency? How was the librarian or library used during the event? If I receive any responses I'll post a HIT.
