Okay--I want to know if I am not understanding something about my job. I don't understand the request. > >I am interested in knowing what other schools do about checking out > library books over the Christmas holidays. I am assuming that the week before the holidays would be the same as normal (but theme related) and that you would want to have books for them to read. In fact, I have launched my Battle of the Books program earilier than previous librarians so that they could be reading these books over the holidays. So my question is....am I missing something in my thinking? When I first saw this, I thought it was about opening the library during the holidays. So now that I am seeing some responses, I am wondering about this.
