We check out over holidays and I make the due date a few days after we get
back so that there is not a rush on the library on the first day back with
students in a panic becasue their book is overdue. I do not know why they
get in a tizzy when they discover they have a book overdue as I do not
charge for overdues, just damage or lost. <grin> But I am glad they notice.
I do not lose books over holidays, I lose books when a students moves
without notice and has a book.
