TECH: IMAC software for student with disabilities

Dear LM_NET:

a teacher has asked for software suggestions suitable for a Gr. 2 student (7
yrs old) using an IMac Touchscreen.  The student has Down's Syndrome &
hearing impairment and is fairly low functioning.  Student is learning
American Sign Language.  The teacher is looking for alphabet programs,
categorizing programs and software to build vocabulary.  Any suggestions
will be gratefully received.  I will post a hit if there is interest.
