Target: elem social studies resources

I am a first year media specialist in a
Virginia elementary school.
This is my first time sending a target,
so I hope I have done it correctly.
Many of the teachers in my school are
in need of resources dealing with
ancient civilizations and explorers
that are written on an appropriate
reading level
for second and third graders.  If anyone
has any suggestions on where
I can find these resources please let me know.
