Avi, the young adult author, has dysgraphia, according to Lives and Works
(Grolier). It made his writing very difficult to read in school. He overcame
it to become a prolific writer.

The acclaimed Virginia artist, P. Buckley Moss, is dyslexic and devotes a
great deal of effort and money to raise awareness of special needs. She has
written an autobiography, I think, and I know has dedicated one of her
prints to raising awareness, based on her own childhood difficulties.
