Whirligig

Dear Netters,

I am reading Whiriligig to my 8th grade students and would like to
collaborate ona project with the art teacher to have the students build one
- hopefully theese will be in honor of someone they know...does anyone know
where I can get any patterns?  I have searched on-line and only found ones
that we could buy...I am hoping for a simple bird.

Any help is greatly apprecaited.
