I'm almost done with questions for you guys! One of my other librarians would like to know how you all deal with the "reward video" issues. How do you deal with the copyright issues (yes, we know it's illegal plus it's really bad teaching) but what do actually happens to somebody who wants to use a video with an essay/worksheet as a reward? What do you do with the kids who don't see the video (as you are now giving some of the kids an assignment and the others get a study hall...which group is being rewarded....) Even more important, what other really creative and fun ideas do you have for situations where you want to reward a group of kids? I'll post a hit next week!
