WE use, from time to time, the National Public School Locator, at
http://nces.ed.gov/ccdweb/school/school.asp
It's drawback is that it dates back to 1998-1999 school year.

Other directories are listed on the web at
http://www.buyerstrust.com/education.htm
I don't use the others so cann't comment on them.
