Since Scholastic bookfairs seem to be constantly a topic for discussion I would like to know from any Librarians how cooperative Scholastic is when you request that specific books not to be sent for the bookfair because of your school's policy or because of religious limitations? This is the first bookfair I am having at the school I am in and have found although I have asked that certain books not be sent, the reps answer was "oh just remove them from the stands"My other problem is the flyers that are sent for distribution to the pupils have these materials that I requested not be sent and therefore I cannot send out the promotional material.
