I am switiching my circulation computer to a Mac G4 with a USB
connection.  The problem is that  the scanner has a serial
connection.  We purchased a converter box and hooked everything
up.  It beeps on start up and beeps when you scan a book.  The
problem is that nothing appears on the screen.  Any ideas?
