We are absolutely crazy when we allow a machine to decide reading level.  It
is inaccurate in terms of content, common sense and by every other measure.
I really liked Reading Counts back when you could set your own levels.  The
new version doesn't do that--a great mistake.  I wish we could just go on
strike against these companies until they are forced to allow us to exercise
our professional judgment.
