I'm looking for advice about a job offer: I am currently an elementary media specialist. I am more of a teacher than a librarian. I teach 11 classes a day (called InfoTech) grades Pre-K through 6th. I teach computer classes and library skills. There is a parapro that orders, processes, and shelves. Our district recently built a brand new high school (middle & high students have been together). The superintendent has asked me if I have any interest in moving to the high school or middle school (more likely the high school). This is a very difficult decision. I am more interested in being a full-time librarian & part-time teacher, but at the same time, I do like my elem. school, too. I love YA lit, but I also love child's lit. Any ideas about what I should do? If you do, please email me directly. wagocs@remc7.k12.mi.us Wendy Agocs Medial Specialist Hamilton Community Schools Hamilton, MI =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-==-= All postings to LM_NET are protected under copyright law.
