My sixth grade social studies teachers are teaching ancient cultures,
specifically Sumeria, Babylonia, Mesopotamia. The English teachers have
asked me for poetry about these cultures. It does not necessarily have to be
poetry that was written by people in this time period, but anything related
to it. I have searched the archives but only find references to ancient
Greek and Roman poets. Does anyone know of any resources?
