When looking at the information about NBPTS certification, I was puzzled by something. I noted the statement that "different sections of the assessment are going to be pilot tested...one portfolio entry. It can be videotaping a class lesson or writing an analysis of student work samples." I've been a media specialist for many years, and have never done an analysis of student work samples. This sounds like something an English teacher would do. Do any of you do this? If so, why do you do it?
