MID: books with unfinished endings

Dear Colleagues,

A fifth-grade teacher asked for suggestions of book titles where the end of
the story was not given, i.e. where the student supplies the ending.

Perhaps she is also interested in those books where readers may choose from
alternative endings.

I would appreciate your suggestions of titles for either category.
