Colleagues: Two of my Win 98 computers sometimes have trouble shutting down. They are on the network, so usually the network login screen is up when it is time to quit for the day. Since you can't do anything on the computer without logging in, not even the START button is available. I therefore use Control+Alt+Delete to bring up a screen that allows me to shut down the computer. For most of the 21 computers in this room, that works just fine. Two of them sometimes get to the "Windows is shutting down your computer" point and then seem to forget what to do next. I've waited as long as a half hour, just to see if they will ever finish. This doesn't happen every day, just often enough to be annoying. Any suggestions? Thanks for your advice.
