ELEM: Looking for a title & author

I had a parent come into the library today looking for a favorite
book.  Of course, she could not remember the title or the author.
However, she did tell me the plot.  A lady goes into a flea market or
yard sale and buys a picture.  After she hangs the picture up in her
home, the animals which are in the painting come out of it and walk
around her house leaving pawprints.  Has anyone heard of this story?
I would like to "wow" them when school resumes on Tuesday.
