A teacher in my school who teaches a combined Grade 7/8 class is looking for suggestions for a good read-aloud book for her class. In searching the archives, I came up with suggestions for classroom books for that age group, but not specifically for read-aloud books. Any suggestions would be welcome. One book I'm thinking of suggesting to her is "Bud, not Buddy." Is that book too young for this age group (this is a magnet school, and the kids are all talented and gifted)?
