I would like to pick the collective brains of my fellow =

HS media specialists about certain policies and procedures in your school=
s. If
you have a minute to respond, I would really =

appreciate it. I will compile the results and post for =

those that are interested. Thanks so much!

1. Do you allow students to use the Internet for =

non-academic purposes? For, example , can they surf during =

their lunch or study for cars,music,hobbies, etc.?

2. I had a teacher challenge me about why the kids could =

print from the computer for free, but had to pay for =

photocopies from books. Do you charge for copies,
specifically reference books or others that can't be check  =

out for what ever reason?

>3. English research papers - Do your teachers still follow =

the traditional method of source cards and note cards? Are =

you trying anything as an alternative that has been =

successful?
