LM_NET: Library Media Networking
I am new to this list, and hope I am not covering a subject that has
already been beaten to death. Am I the only one who is frustrated with
the new AR leveling system??? I can't believe that Judy Blume's book
"Are You There God, It's Me, Margaret" comes in at a 3.6 level. Nancy
Farmers' "The Ear, The Eye, and the Arm" was a 7.4, and dropped to a
4.7!! You mean to tell me that last year, it was helpful to a 7.4 level,
and this year, it drops to a 4.7!! CRAZY!! We have the book "Thin Ice",
which is at a 4.4 level. My assistant read it, and we had to pull it
from the shelf. When did bast@#$, and f%$# become part of our fourth
grade vocabulary?? Sorry about the language, I cleaned it up for this
email! Does anyone have any insight on this? I have emailed the company
and get no response!
